Kolkata based I-League side Mohammedan SC today evening announced that Bunkerhill will continue as their principal investor for the upcoming season of football.

Mohammedan SC was in search of a new investor for the last couple of months after the surprising exit of Bunkerhill. After being at the helm of MDSC for the last three years, Bunkerhill made a sudden exit ahead of the new season. Reports suggested a feud with club officials regarding the delay in share transfer triggered the investor’s exit.

But now it seems the MDSC officials have once again sorted things out with the Gurgaon-based company owned by Deepak Sing. As the recent press release from the club mentions, “Mohammedan Sporting Club has agreed to transfer 51 percent stake to Bunker Hill. The club has also agreed to hand over all responsibilities of the youth development program to the principal investor. And Mr. Kanishk Sheel, one of the directors of Bunker Hill, has been appointed as Mohammedan’s Vice President.“
