In an exciting match on Thursday, Odisha Fc emerges victorious against Bengaluru FC. It is their second consecutive home win this season in Kalinga Stadium. With this win, Odisha has 9 points in 4 games in the Indian Super League. Nandhakumar Sekar scored the only goal of the game in the 33rd minute.
Despite Roy Krishna’s appearance, Bengaluru FC failed to leave a mark on this game. It is Bengaluru’s 2nd defeat in 4 games as the team continues its struggle in starting phase of the league.
Mumbai City FC continues its unbeaten run.
Mumbai City FC defeated Kerala Blasters in their away game this week. The visitors with the help of goals from Mehtab Singh and Jorge Diaz sealed a 2-0 victory in Kochi. It is their second win this season. Mumbai now has 8 points in 4 games. The Islanders played 2 draws and won 2 games so far. On the other hand, it was Kerala Blasters’ third defeat this season. The men in yellow are not able to find their rhythm so far this season.
Hyderabad FC secures the top spot.
Hyderabad FC has been in top form this season. The last year’s champions have been undefeated so far. In the match against FC Goa this Saturday, Hyderabad came out on top. With the help of Javier Siverio’s goal in the 17th minute, they beat FC Goa 1-0.
FC Goa has also been quite impressive this season. Even after conceding an early goal, the visitors created chances and also kept their goal safe from further attacks. With this, Hyderabad now has 10 points in 4 games.
ATK Mohun Bagan won the Kolkata Derby.
In the most exciting game of the week, ATK Mohun Bagan wins 2-0 against East Bengal. The Kolkata Derby has always been a 50-50 rivalry. The game saw many twists and turns. Both teams created and missed their chances in the first half of the game. However, Boumous’s effort from the mid-range put ATK Mohun Bagan in the 55th minute. After 10 minutes, Manvir Singh’s deflected shot off Jerry Lalrinzuala’s boot found the net. With their win against East Bengal, ATK Mohun Bagan are now fourth in the table.


Jamshedpur FC wins their first game of the season.
In the last game of Matchweek 4, host Jamshedpur FC defeated NorthEast United FC. The hosts gave the visitors their fourth defeat this season. The goal from Peter Hartley in the 31st minute was the only game of the match. It was the first win of the season for Jamshedpur. North East United continue to disappoint their fans as they sit at the bottom of the table. The team has not been in any sort of touch lately. However, Jamshedpur would be proud of their victory. They are now in the sixth position in the points table.
